Karen A. Morrissey, a software engineer from Denver, Colorado, read her first science fiction in the third grade--Robert Heinlein's The Green Hills of Earth. She grew up not with Nancy Drew, but Tom Swift Jr. Her favorite authors are Marion Zimmer Bradley and Orson Scott Card, but her writer's voice is rich with irony and dry humor.
Her first novel is Fisher King: Percival's Descent, an Arthurian-themed space opera.
In addition to writing, she is CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Thursday Night Press Ltd., an independent publisher focused on developing authors local to the Denver metro area.
