She won the contest for the second year in a row and published her second award-winning book, One Hundred Words, at the age of 17.
Lauren lives in Parker, Colorado with her parents, three younger brothers, and a hyper cat. When she’s not working at the library, she spends her time reading voraciously, writing poetry, and dreaming up new stories.
