Barbra Cohn has a Master's degree in Professional Writing, a BA in English literature, a BA in Religious Studies, and a nutrition educator certificate from the Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts. She has been a professional writer for 38 years, specializing in health and travel. Her first book Calmer Waters: The Caregiver's Journey Through Alzheimer's and Dementia (Blue River Press) was released June 1, 2016, and is available everywhere books are sold.
Barbra has written hundreds of articles for local, regional and national publications including: First for Women, Nexus, Midwest Today, Shofar, YM, Sh’ma, Delicious!, Better Nutrition, and AAA's Encompass Magazine. She also does promotional writing and research for manufacturers of nutritional supplements.
