Sunny Weber

Sunny has over 25 years’ experience in pet rescue, humane education, shelter & sanctuary work, service dog training, obedience competition, dog & cat fostering, pet medical care, horse ground training and has authored articles and books in several fields. Sunny has owned businesses and has backgrounds in speaking, marketing, sales, teaching, management and public relations.

Specializing in fearful animals and “special needs” medical pets, Sunny has rehabilitated and re-homed hundreds of dogs, cats and horses. She has mentored other people who have saved more pet lives.

Sunny is a professional humane educator and has consulted with rescues, shelters and sanctuaries. Sunny has also developed educational programs regarding urban wildlife cohabitation especially focused on coyotes. Information provided includes: history of wildlife in urban areas, lifestyles and lifespans, diet, management, and safety for adults, children and domestic pets. She has addressed all ages regarding awareness of and need for compassion, respect, responsibility, tolerance, co-habitation, and care of domestic and wild animals.

Sunny lives with three dogs, four cats and two parakeets. Their yard is a Certified Backyard Habitat for birds, squirrels, rabbits, pollinators, and anyone else with fur or feathers who wanders in.
